HOME INQUIRY:
Chats with your children about transitioning up to year 6 or high school would be beneficial.
Notices:
Notice about school books will be coming home, please help check your child's bag for these so the books do not make unnecessary trips back to school.
Move up Monday is Monday the 8th of December
School fun day is Tuesday the 9th of December
Graduation is Wednesday th 10th of December
Important Information for Year 5’s
Our Year 6 T-shirt size samples have been available in the Green Screen Room all week.
If you have been unable to come in for sizing, please contact your child’s teacher!
Parents are required to size up their own child and sign the form to confirm their selection.
Business Unit:
This week, students have explored and chosen projects they can support through Gifts of Grace. With overall profits of approximately $2,500, their hard work with certainly impact the lives of others. The choices that we made were thoughtful with their money providing everything from a wheelchair to chickens! We are proud of their efforts and their thoughtfulness!

Week 9
We have several things that are on the calendar for end of year including our Year 5/6 class celebration, move up morning, high school transitions and preparations for our 2026 Year 5/6 classes. We have a busy time ahead and your assistance is valued. Please ensure you are aware of the school calendar dates and commitments.
Thank you to Joel who has organised a seminar on Move Up morning for our students who will be moving on from GGLPS. This will take place on Monday morning during the time that other students are in their 2026 classes.
Graduation Service
The Year 6 students have been preparing for their special farewell at the Graduation Service on Wednesday, December 10th in the Worship Centre. Year 6 students are asked to wear formal summer uniform and meet the teachers in the Year 5/6 classrooms by from 6.30 and 6.45 pm at the latest. Year 5 families and students are invited to attend but it is not compulsory.
