Year 3/4 Cluster News
Our final newsletter for this term! What a year we have had. From camps to excursions, swimming and all the things in between, it has been a pleasure teaching each and every one of your children this year.
We wish you all a blessed Christmas and joyous New Year.
Announcements:
Library – We have finished borrowing for the year from Sunnybrook LRC. All books will need to be returned prior to the end of the school year.
End of Year Pack Up – As we pack up for the end of the year, we will gradually send home student books as we finish using them for the year.
Golden Fields Excursion – To celebrate the end of the year, we are taking the students to Golden Fields between recess and lunch on Monday 8th December. An email has been sent home via Parent Lounge. Can you please ensure this is filled in by Friday. There is no cost for this day.
Week 9 Key Dates / Events:
Monday 8th Dec –
Move up Morning – students will spend the morning until recess meeting their new class teachers and peers for 2026.
Golden Fields excursion: Students will be going to Golden fields for an excursion between recess and lunch to finish the year off.
Pizza for those who have ordered it. Please note this is only meant to compliment the children’s lunch. They will still need lunch if this is not sufficient.
Tuesday 9th Dec –
P&F Fun Day (casual clothes day) – a sausage sizzle provided at lunchtime and a special visitor in the afternoon. Please pack spare clothes and towel just in case.
Board Game afternoon – students are welcome to bring along a board game from home to play in the afternoon.
Wednesday 10th Dec –
Last Day 2025 - Closing Worship @ 9:15am before farewells and goodbyes at the usual time of 3:07pm.
