Philanthropic Partnership

We are delighted to share that Seaford Park Primary School has received a significant philanthropic donation of $75,000 from Bendigo Bank Carrum Downs, delivered through the Payton Foundation, to support our wellbeing and inclusion programs. We are pleased to have worked with them throughout the year to develop a pilot program for our cluster of local primary schools. Seaford Park has been selected as the first school in the cluster to roll out this initiative, and we are extremely grateful for this opportunity. This generous contribution will make a profound difference to our students and families, ensuring that every child has access to the support they need to succeed.

This funding brings together two key areas of support for our students:

  • Morning Transition & Wellbeing Support: Providing a calm, structured start to the day for students who need additional support. This includes access to a welcoming wellbeing space, sensory and regulation activities, social connection games, and caring guidance from staff as students transition into their classrooms. By meeting both emotional and physical needs first thing in the morning, the program strengthens student wellbeing, improves attendance, reduces behavioural challenges, and ensures students begin their day feeling safe, supported, and ready to learn.

  • Allied Health Assessment Access: Supporting families by reducing long wait times and easing financial pressure through improved access to on-site educational, speech, cognitive, and developmental assessments. Strengthened by our collaborative “Team Around the Learner” approach and our partnership with Peninsula Plus, this model ensures specialists work closely with teachers and families to provide timely interventions, coordinated support plans, and guidance through referral and NDIS pathways. By offering assessments and early intervention at school, we remove significant barriers for families and ensure students receive the right support at the right time, leading to stronger long-term learning and wellbeing outcomes.

Together, these initiatives aim to remove barriers to learning, support emotional and social development, and ensure students receive the right help at the right time—both as they walk through the school gates each morning and throughout their learning journey.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Bendigo Bank and the Payton Foundation for this meaningful investment in our school community. Their generosity will have a lasting impact on student wellbeing, learning, and inclusion at Seaford Park Primary School.

Together, we are ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
