Principal's Message

Dear Families,

As we approach the end of the school year, there is a wonderful sense of excitement and celebration across our community. November has been a particularly busy and rewarding month, and I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the efforts and achievements that have made it so special.

Our Trivia Night and Christmas Community Night were both incredible successes. It was heart-warming to see so many families, staff, and community members coming together, enjoying each other’s company, and showing such strong support for our school. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $5,700, which will go directly towards upgrading our outdoor play spaces. A popular request from our Year 5/6 students has been the addition of a Gaga Pit, and we will now begin exploring this option as part of our play space improvements. It’s always inspiring to see our students taking an active role in shaping their school environment.

We have also loved welcoming our 2026 Prep students and families during their transition sessions. Their enthusiasm has been contagious, and we are excited to help them begin their primary school journey with confidence and joy. On Tuesday 9th December, we will host our Up Day, when all students will spend time in their 2026 classrooms. This is an important step in preparing for the year ahead as we finalise our teaching teams and class structures. We hope the day provides a sense of reassurance and excitement for students as they look forward to new beginnings.

I would also like to acknowledge our wonderful partnerships with the Payton Foundation, Bendigo Bank Carrum Downs and Ray White Frankston, whose philanthropic donations and ongoing fundraising support have made an immense difference to our programs and opportunities this year. Their generosity and commitment to our school community are deeply appreciated. You can read more about these partnerships on the relevant page in this newsletter.

Thank you once again for your ongoing support, energy, and involvement. The sense of community at Seaford Park Primary School continues to be one of our greatest strengths, and I am grateful for the role each of you plays in making our school a thriving and connected place to learn.

Warm regards,

Stephania Johnson-Turner
