P-6 Swimming Lessons

This week all of our students participated in our Swimming program at Echuca Pool. Swimming is a part of the PE curriculum in Victoria. Students not only learn to swim but they also learn about water safety. Here are some photos from the first 2 days of lessons with the P-2 Students. 

Lunchtime Netball

Our lunchtime netball tournament wrapped up today. We had 40 students across 5 teams, boys and girls, from Grades 3-6 competing. The Grand Final had Lacey’s team vs Maddi’s team. A huge crowd cheered the teams on. In a very high quality game, scores were tied at the end of normal time. Teams then played 2 minutes each way of extra time. Lacey’s team ran out winners, 16-14. Best on Court was the captain of the losing team, Maddi Murphy. Thanks to Matisse for all the umpiring she did. Thanks to Mr Ras and Matisse for supporting this competition.
