Meliyah
Awarded to Meliyah for her exceptional effort, positive attitude, and consistent demonstration of our school values. Throughout the term, she has shown remarkable responsibility and independence, often helping to keep our classroom tidy and organised without being asked. She approaches every learning task with enthusiasm and settles quickly, showing a strong commitment to doing her best.
In her learning, Meliyah listens carefully to instructions, asks questions when she is unsure, and confidently takes on feedback to improve her work. She is a responsible and engaged reader who uses her phonics knowledge to decode unfamiliar words. In writing, she tries her very best and listens closely to the sounds in each word.
We are especially proud of how beautifully she has settled into her new school environment, building positive relationships and becoming a valued member of our classroom. Her kindness, effort, and determination make her a worthy recipient of this Student of the Term Award. Congratulations, Meliyah!
Xavier
Xavier has made a conscientious effort and shown commendable growth this term in all areas.
He consistently demonstrates a 'have-a-go' attitude, approaching all learning tasks with determination and confidence. Whether it's tackling a new maths strategy, engaging in a writing task or out on the sport field, Xavier gives his best effort. His developing independence and responsibility has been evident both in the classroom and wider school community, yet he also knows when to seek clarification to ensure he fully understands expectations.
Xavier brings a happy, caring and entertaining attitude to our classroom. He pays close attention during lessons and class discussions and contributes thoughtful ideas.
He works responsibly in groups, supports and encourages his peers when they need a helping hand, and always treats others with empathy and fairness.
Xavier is a fantastic student who demonstrates our school values daily and helps set a positive tone for the entire class. We’re so proud of the growth he has made this year.
Well done, Xavier —you truly are a star!
Zoe
This award is proudly presented to Zoe Mangan in recognition of her outstanding effort, positive attitude, and commitment to giving her very best in everything she does.
Throughout the term, she has consistently shown what it means to be a dedicated and enthusiastic learner. She completes her work to the highest standard she can and show’s determination to improve and keep trying, even when things are difficult.
In all areas of school life - whether she is participating in sporting activities, working with classmates, or taking part in whole-school events - she always shows enthusiasm, teamwork, and respect. She gives her best effort, encourages others, and displays a positive energy that lifts the people around her.
She is also a caring and supportive classmate. She helps others without being asked, shows kindness in her words and actions, and is someone her peers know they can rely on. Her willingness to step up, include others, and be a role model makes her a valued and much-appreciated member of our school community.
Congratulations on being an exceptional student and our Student of the Term!
