Hello families,

We’ve had a wonderful and busy week at OSHC filled with creativity, learning, and lots of happy moments!

Creative Corner - The children have been busy working on their end-of-year craft activities,creating beautiful pieces to celebrate the year gone by. From painting and beading to building and designing, their imagination has been incredible to watch.

Learning Through Language - We’ve continued our cultural learning as the children practice counting in the different languages they have been learning—including Hindi, Malayalam, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Aboriginal languages, Sinhala, Chinese, Amharic (Ethiopian), and Armenian. It has been amazing to hear the children proudly share their knowledge and teach each other.

Snack Time -We enjoyed some delicious snacks together after group time. Thank you to all families for supporting our routines—it helps us keep the afternoon smooth and enjoyable for everyone.

Active Play - Outdoor play was full of energy!  The children worked together, challenged themselves, and shared lots of laughs. We continue to encourage teamwork, resilience, and positive relationships during outdoor activities.

Children’s Voice - Our children have been sharing lots of ideas during group time—including new games, activity suggestions, and ways to make our space even more fun and welcoming. Their voices help us shape our daily program.

What’s Coming Up - Next week we’ll continue with more cultural activities, cooking experiences,and hands-on projects. If your child has a special skill or idea they would like to share, we would love to support it!
