If you are bored and have nothing to do this Saturday, come and watch our school choir perform. And enjoy an evening of fun, music and activities. It starts at 5:00 pm and ends at
8:30 pm. Mr Lazarus will also be singing on stage with his band. It would be great to see familiar faces in the crowd, so come on down to Anzac Park.

To all the classroom teachers!
We are having a competition for the best festive classroom. Next week, we will go around and choose a winner from the senior and junior classrooms.
We can’t wait to see how festive the classrooms can look. There might be a small prize in it for you and your students.

Miss Sophi Georgantonis - New teacher of 6A - Interview
It is also her birthday today!
What do you like about our school?
I like that everyone is welcoming, all the students are kind and are willing to learn.
What is one thing you would do to improve our school?
I would improve the school by providing more opportunities for students to have a say in their well-being.
Why did you want to become a teacher?
I wanted to become a teacher to reach the new generation and provide a safe learning environment for students.
What is your favourite hobby?
My favourite hobby is playing sports outside of school.
How long have you been teaching for?
This is my very first year of teaching.
We would like to take the opportunity this week to congratulate everyone who is participating in and acting in the play. The school play is happening next week on Thursday, and it is called Sheep Stuff. The play is about sheep finding Jesus and finding the true meaning of Christmas.
We have excellent actors, and we are so proud of everyone. The whole school has been practising their songs and actions with Mrs B, Mrs Lazarus and their classroom teachers.
The main actors have given up their time after school each Wednesday from 3.30 - 4.30, working hard on their lines and acting skills, what a great commitment from all.
The play is going to be amazing, and we can’t wait to see everyone’s talents and all our parents, friends and families in the crowd cheering the whole school on.
Kolbe Orientation
Some of the Year 6 students went to Kolbe yesterday for their Year 7 orientation. We did different activities to get to know the school better. Some of the activities included a scavenger hunt, an introduction to what next year would look like. Some art fun, HPE and getting to know some of the teachers and other students, and making new friends and learning a lot about the school and expectations.
We can’t wait to start high school and choose some of the subjects we want to learn about!
