Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope
Last Friday we celebrated the end of the school year and the graduation of our Year 6 students at a mass held at St Brigid's church. We pray that our Year 6 students will continue to live the Catholic Principles & Values they have learnt during primary school. God Bless, we will miss you.

Today, students from K-Year 5 celebrated a special mass in St Brigid's Church. At this mass the Migrant Jubilee Cross was explained to the students. This cross has been making its way around Australia, starting from the Jubilee of Migrants in October 2025 with the theme ‘Migrants, Missionaries of Hope’. The Cross is a gift from migrant communities to the broader Church, showcasing the faith and contributions that they bring. The cross has been created to symbolise the Church as:
a place of refuge…
a place of welcome…
a place of integration…
and a place of solidarity.
This cross is extra special to us in Quirindi as it was crafted by a local parishioner John Kerklaan. Congratulations John for creating such a beautiful symbol for the Jubilee year.
As the cross journeys across Catholic parishes and schools, may it touch our spirits and bring us together in hope.

I am very pleased to announce that in 2026 Mrs Sharnie Meade, who will be returning from maternity leave, will be the Religious Education Coordinator. In this role Sharnie will work closely with Father Kingsley & Miss Bernie to plan masses, liturgies, sacramental programs and parishioner visits.
