YEAR 7
FRIENDSHIP CAMP

YEAR 7
FRIENDSHIP CAMP
Last week, our Year 7 students and staff had the chance to spend three days together at an outdoor education camp—and what an adventure we had! Students learned how to use GPS navigation systems, took part in an exciting laser tag challenge, tackled team activities, and enjoyed campfire fun.
It was wonderful to see our Year 7s stepping out of their comfort zones, making new friends, and showing great resilience throughout the camp. To wrap up the experience, students spent some reflective time writing letters to their Year 12 selves—an inspiring way to capture their hopes and goals for the future. These letters will be safely stored and returned to students at an appropriate time in Year 12.
A big thank you to all the staff who helped, both at camp and behind the planning scenes at school. Additionally, thank you to the families for your support and encouraging our Year 7’s to attend the annual Friendship camp. We’re so proud of how well our Year 7s represented the school—it’s been an amazing start to their high school journey.
We’re already looking forward to the next adventure!
Warm regards
