Inverell Clontarf Academy – Mother’s Day Celebrations 

The Inverell Clontarf Academy proudly celebrated Mother’s Day with two special activities recognising the important women in our boys’ lives.

Last week, thanks to the generosity of Woolworths Inverell, 10 of our boys took part in a cake decorating activity for their mums and carers. The boys learned decorating techniques before creating their own special cakes to take home. A huge thank you to the Woolworths team, especially Kelly and Joy, for making the experience so memorable.

This week, the Academy also hosted a Mother’s Day lunch for mums, nans, aunties and carers. The boys prepared and served lunch before enjoying the occasion together with their families.

We were pleased to welcome Uncle Kelvin Brown, attending on behalf of Mayor Kate Dight and Deputy Mayor Jo Williams. Year 12 student Dwight B also spoke on behalf of the Academy, thanking families for their ongoing support and dedication.
