Year 5/6 News

Welcome back, everyone!
We’re looking forward to Term 4 and are excited to see all students settling back into their class routines this week. There are lots of great events and activities planned for this term, and we’re eager to make it another positive and successful time for everyone.
This Term at a Glance
We have an exciting and engaging term planned for our Grade 5/6 students! Some of the key activities and programs include:
- Puberty and Health Education Sessions
- Grade 5 Leadership Workshops and Grade 6 High School Transition Sessions
- 2026 Captain Speeches – an opportunity for students to share their leadership aspirations
- Grade 6 Day Out – a fun celebration for our senior students
- Basketball Competition and the Years 3–6 Pool Party
- Respectful Relationships lessons focusing on consent and gender roles
- Science and Sustainability – we’re excited to be funding the FEAST cooking program, which teaches students about food, sustainability, and reducing food waste
Boys in the Bush Program – a special initiative for selected students
