Welcome back to Term 4!!

We welcome our new student, Flynn to our classroom!

In Literacy, we have started a Personal & Fictional Narrative unit, where we will be looking at all the elements that make a good story (characters, setting, problem, ordered events and a solution to the problem). This week we have been discussing the differences between a personal narrative (It can happen in real life) and a Fictional narrative (It cannot happen in real life eg talking animals, superpowers etc).

In Maths we have been digging deep into larger numbers. Looking at the place value, ordering numbers forwards and backwards, looking at number patterns and recognising odd and even numbers. 

In Inquiry, we started our unit on Fairy Tales, Myths, Legends & Fables. We looked at why we call some very old stories fairy tales and then made some magic fairy wands.
