Governance Matters

We invite you to get to know three more of the members of the College Board. (Our first three members were featured in Edition #11 of The College Courier).

Mr Andrew Macliver

BArch RAIA

Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee

Andrew is a registered architect who has been principal architect in his own practice since 2001. His experience spans a broad range of project types, from residential and commercial to educational and, more recently, a significant number of heritage and other projects for the Anglican Diocese of Perth.

Andrew is an active member of the Australian Institute of Architects and has been involved in work with design advisory panels in local government circles, most recently with the City of Fremantle.

He has a strong interest and belief in the principle that good design makes a difference to people’s lives — not just in the architectural (building) realm, but in all aspects of daily life.

Mr Scott Payne

BSc (Psychology), DipEd (School Psychology and Special Educ), Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical)

Board Member

Scott is a clinical psychologist with 20 years’ experience across the disability, education and health sectors in Western Australia. This includes five years in school administration, management and leadership roles. He has held a range of clinical and direct service positions while also providing clinical case and team leadership, consultancy to school and disability administrators, and professional supervision for allied health practitioners.

Scott currently runs a solo private practice, supporting clients of all ages and backgrounds. He specialises in working with neurodivergent children and adolescents and their families. Offering an alternative model of care, Scott meets clients almost anywhere except clinic settings — a choice that suits those who find traditional settings uncomfortable or who benefit from physical movement during therapy. He also uses technology to connect with clients who prefer not to meet face-to-face.

Scott is passionate about supporting people with disability, neurodiversity and mental health challenges. He applies the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy both in his work and personal life. An Old Saint, he values the opportunity to give back to the College community through his role on the Board.

Scott lives with his wife and children, who both attend All Saints’ College. He still plays in bands and on skateboards.
