As Term 3 draws to a close, we reflect on a vibrant and productive few months filled with learning, connection and celebration. Here are just some of the many highlights from across our school community:
Participated in the ORIMA School Improvement Surveys and the ACER School Improvement Tool (SIT) Review, helping us reflect and grow.
Successfully completed the VRQA School Review, affirming our commitment to continuous improvement.
Hosted School Council meetings and conducted Foundation interviews for 2026 enrolments.
Held Learning Conversations and Science of Learning parent sessions, strengthening the home-school partnership.
Continued to support students through PSG meetings.
Continued strong community engagement through PFA meetings, the Father’s Day breakfast and stall, and the popular Outdoor Cinema Night.
Supported by successful fundraising and fun events including sushi lunch, pie drive, Crazy Camel fundraiser (artwork on calendars and notebooks), and Friday lunch orders.
Undertook a Catholic Identity Review to deepen our mission and values.
Celebrated Sacrament of Reconciliation and held Unit Masses, nurturing our spiritual life.
Focused on professional growth through Classroom Mastery practices, StepLab Instructional Coaching, and Annual Review meetings.
Participated in key formation days including Staff Spirituality Day, Pastoral Wellbeing Network Day, and Learner Diversity Network Day.
Engaged in Learning Leaders & Principals Data Day and MHiPS training/network days with Bendigo CESL schools.
Continued to explore new initiatives through PLCs on Magnify, including updated testing practices.
There is a lot to celebrate at St Joseph's, and to look forward to for the remainder of the year. The St Joseph staff wish all families a safe and restful holiday.
Statements for school fees & levies are emailed to families at the start of each month. Please check your statement and contact the office if you have any questions.
It is expected that all school fees and levies are finalised each year by the start of December.
The school provides a variety of options for payment of school fees and levies - in full at the start of the school year / part payment at the start of each school term / by direct debit – weekly, fortnightly, or monthly / by direct payment into the school bank account or by regular payments at the school office by cash or EFTPOS. You can even pay over the phone if you wish.
It is important that payment of school fees and levies are honoured and prompt payment is much appreciated. However, if you are experiencing difficulty meeting your obligation for payment, please contact the school to arrange a time to discuss this with the Principal, Mr Peter Teggelove.
We are planning the set up for the 2026 school year and would appreciate families who may be leaving St Joseph's to let us know as soon as possible. This advanced notice supports not only our organisation for 2026 but the transition of students to other settings.
