Grade 1 and 2

CBL - Curiosity!

We have been blown away by the curiosity of our students as we learn more and more about the amazing vastness and complexities of outer space. Students have been asking so many fascinating questions and challenging themselves to explore and find out some of the answers using various texts and reliable websites. Space knowledge has taken over our classrooms and writing on the various topics has been fantastic!

'ONEderful' Camp Day

We had an amazing day having a camp experience at school! We cooked and crafted and constructed before clowning around with "The Greatest Showman" circus skills incursion. There was so much joy in the building as students juggled and tossed, threw and balanced, and so many more things! It was so 'ONE'derful to see the teamwork and enjoyment that all of the students had. They learnt many camp type things such as how to line up and wait for dinner, how to prepare food safely, how to work together as a team to achieve a goal and how to have an absolutely amazing day! A big thank you to our parent helpers throughout the day who made it possible. 

Grade 2 Camp Day

We are busy behind the scenes preparing for the Grade 2 Camp day in Week 10 of this term. We know it will be a truly fun day to look forward to.

Swimming

Today wraps up our swimming program for the year. This week has been a great chance for the students to build their skills in the water, including safety skills around the water. We are so proud of the independence that our students have shown by packing their bags, changing quickly and remembering to apply sunscreen too! Today was a wonderful sunny day and the students all had happy smiles.
