Flyers from around the Macedon Ranges

To all Members and friends of Woodend RSL

We have been exploring different catering options for our RSL.  We have been successful in securing an option for all of us to try.

Parachute Landing food truck will be located at the Woodend RSL to provide meals on the evenings of Friday 15th and 22nd November.  We encourage everyone to come down and stay to eat and with an accompanying drink or two in the RSL.

Parachute Landing is run by Mark Nicholson, an ex-Commando RAEME veteran of Afghanistan, living in Gisborne.  The food truck does Texan-style barbeque meats and is focused on providing hearty meals at a good price, including burgers, Wagyu brisket, pulled pork and the ultimate Texan beef rib.

Vegetarian options are also catered.  You can check out more about them at  https://parachute-landing.com/

Mark is a passionate supporter of young veterans and hires out the Parachute Landing truck to Service and ex-service organisation events.

In support of the Woodend RSL, Mark will also be conducting a session for a few local young vets in the art of preparing and cooking Texan BBQ.  Places may still be available so get in touch if you’re interested.

If there’s enough Woodend support on these dates, we’ll be aiming to get Parachute Landing to come back more regularly.
