Celebrating Our Exceptional Teachers

Dear Community,

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge our wonderful teachers in recognition of World Teachers’ Day. Their commitment to ensuring that every child feels safe and engaged in their learning is truly commendable.

Our teachers inspire and motivate students not only during school hours but well beyond. Their dedication is evident in their round-the-clock efforts—whether it’s checking a students progress, developing innovative lessons, or communicating with parents, their work continues even after the school day ends. Many arrive early to prepare for the day ahead and offer additional support to those who need it most.

What sets our teachers apart is their unwavering belief in every student's potential. They know when to encourage, when to guide, and when to allow students the space to learn independently. Importantly, they refuse to let any child give up, fostering resilience and a growth mindset in all their students. They are role models, exemplifying positivity, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence.

As the Dalai Lama wisely stated:

“When educating the minds of our youth, we must not forget to educate their hearts.” Our teachers embody this philosophy in all that they do.

In addition to their classroom responsibilities, our teachers also take on various extra duties, from organising festivals to fundraising and coordinating camps. Their contributions enrich our school community immensely.
