I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2024 for successfully completing Year 12. The Valedictory ceremony this week was a memorable occasion, and it was a privilege to be part of this special celebration for the Year 12 Class of 2024. We commend the unique talents and compassionate characters of our students who are now venturing into the wider world as proud graduates of St George’s Anglican Grammar School – The Grammarians. I also wish to extend special congratulations to the award recipients of the evening.

Year 11 2025 Subject Selection Update

With the 2025 timetable nearing completion, all Year 10 students and families have now been advised of the final Year 11 gridlines via SEQTA Direqt message.

Students and families are encouraged to review their choices during Weeks 2 and 3 of this term, ahead of finalising selections in Week 4 with a member of the subject selection team.

The grid lines accommodate a high percentage of the selection choices of the Year 10 students. Whilst some students may need to make some tweaks to their subject choices we will offer our full support as they now fit their subject choices to the Year 11 2025 Course Gridlines.

Year 9 OLNA

As a follow-up to our previous edition of The Dragon, the OLNA for our Year 9 students is scheduled to take place during Weeks 3 and 4. The timeline for the OLNA sessions is as follows:

  • Week 3 Monday 21 October: OLNA Writing
  • Week 3 Tuesday 22 October: OLNA Writing Catch Up
  • Week 3 Wednesday 23 October: OLNA Reading
  • Week 3 Thursday 24 October: OLNA Numeracy
  • From Week 3 Friday 25 October to Week 4 Wednesday 30 October: OLNA Reading and Numeracy Catch Up

We encourage students to check their Direqt messages for additional details regarding the time and location of the OLNA sessions.

Furthermore, we recommend students undertaking the OLNA for the first time to complete a practice test available at the following link:
