Year 2 Mathematics

To begin Term 4, Year 2 students have continued to explore Units of Measurement, including volume, capacity and mass. Students have used a variety of formal and informal units to estimate and measure. This has involved using sand to compare the capacity of different containers and using balance and kitchen scales to measure and compare mass. Students have also explored formal units of measurement, such as millilitres, litres, kilograms and grams, and how to convert different types of measurement.
