From the Desk of Kathy Nott - Term 4, Week 2
Good Afternoon Parents/Carers,
Our students have had a great first week being ready and settled for learning.

Tell Them from Me Survey
The annual Tell Them from Me Survey is open, and I ask that all parents take the time to log on to: http://nsw.tellthemfromme.com/6hxy8 and fill out. This survey is anonymous and helps shape our school. The survey closes on 8th November 2024.
2025 Kinder Orientation and Transition
Today we welcomed our 2025 Kinder students for their first transition session. Thank you to Julia and the team from Werris Creek Preschool for bringing those children who attend preschool and all parents who came along. If your child is eligible to attend Kindergarten in 2025 and did not attend today, it is not too late. Please contact the school office for more details on our transition program.
Attention Kinder Parents
If you have Kinder Prep Shirts from last year, could you please return them to our school office so we can pass on to our 2025 Kinder cohort.
Year 6 Halloween Fundraiser
Year 6 will be holding another Fundraiser for Halloween on Wednesday, 30th October to raise funds for their Year 6 Farewell. This is a gold coin donation event and Year 6 will also be selling some sweet treats in the canteen on the day. Prizes will be given for the best dressed student in each class.
Bush Dance
Miss Overell has been working hard on coordinating our Bush Dance that will be held at Werris Creek Sports Club on Saturday, 2nd November from 6pm. This is a family friendly event and we look forward to seeing you there.
Grandparents Day
We would like to acknowledge how special our Grandparents are to our children by inviting all of our Grandparents/Special person to visit us on Wednesday, 6th November from 10:30am to enjoy some reading time and morning tea with your Grandchildren.
