Division Athletics Success!

On Wednesday, 9th of October, I had the privilege of accompanying our Division Track and Field Team, and I am absolutely beaming with pride! The students were buzzing with nerves as we arrived—it was a massive event, with so many people, and everything felt very official. Despite the pressure, our students rose to the challenge, giving it their all and trying their absolute hardest. Some of them had even been practising every day at home, determined to achieve their best results.

We were treated to a beautiful day of sunshine, and I’m thrilled to share that we had some incredible results. Drum roll, please—we have three students advancing to Regionals on Monday, 21st of October, at Casey Fields! A huge congratulations to:

• Leah A. (U11) who soared through in Long Jump with a personal best of over 3.4m!
• Archie J. (U11) who sprinted his way to 2nd place in the 800m.
• Mia C. (U9/10) who impressively cleared 1.20m in the High Jump!

I couldn’t be prouder of all the students who competed. Their effort, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship made it an unforgettable day. A special thank you goes out to all the parents for transporting and supporting their kids. Your encouragement made a huge difference!

Exciting News: Melbourne Stars Schools Ticketing Program!

Upcoming Events - Division Cricket 

Last term, Coach Waldock and her team were successful in District Cricket. On Tuesday 22nd of October, they will be heading down to Mt Martha to compete against cricket teams in the Northern Division to try and get through to Regionals. We wish them all the best and can’t wait to hear how they go. Woohoo! 

Upcoming Events - Girls AFL and Boys Netball Day

On Friday 25th of October,  33 Year 5/6 Students will be heading to Ballam Park and Jubilee Park to participate in the first Girls AFL and Boys Netball Day for Bayside District. Thanks to all the students for putting their names down and giving these sports a go. It’s going to be a really fun day.
