Table Tennis

Michael Maskel, Table Tennis Club Coach

On behalf of our team at the Kyabram Youth Club, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Kyabram P-12 College for the wonderful opportunity to introduce your students to the exciting world of Table Tennis.

The enthusiasm and energy of the children were truly inspiring, and it was a pleasure to see them engage so eagerly with the sport. Your support and cooperation were instrumental in making our program a success. We are confident that the skills and enjoyment the students gained will foster a lifelong appreciation for table tennis.

We are also thrilled to share that the tournament held at the end of our sessions was a great success. The competition was fierce, and we were delighted to see such high levels of talent and sportsmanship.

Thank you for your partnership and we look forward to coming again in the future.

Sports Update around our college

It's been a busy few weeks of sport, with some amazing efforts happening across the college.

Thursday 9th May

17 of our Secondary students headed across to Echuca College in Wintery conditions to compete in the Campaspe Cross Country event. Thankfully, the skies cleared in time for students to get off and racing with some impressive efforts on the day. Congratulations to David P, Jack F, Seb G, Rhys P, Holly M and Cooper R who will compete at the Loddon Mallee Regionals event in St Arnaud.

Wednesday 15th May

Our Year 7/8 boys travelled over to Rochester on Wednesday 15 May to complete in the Campaspe Football competition. Heading in against some tough competition, the boys were able to get a win against Rochester Secondary College, before going down against a talented SMOTA side. Overall, a great day out and special thanks to Mr Barnes, Tony and Archer for supporting the boys on the day.

Friday 17th May

48 of our P-6 students competed at the Campaspe Cross Country event on Friday 17 May in Moama with perfect weather conditions. All students performed well, with special mention to Aiden D and Indi B who both finished with a top 12 performance, Aiden in 11th and Indi in an impressive 3rd place. Indi and Aiden are now off to the Loddon Mallee Regionals event next week. Special thanks to Adam Thomson for warming the kids up before their events.

Tuesday 21st May

Our P-6 students ventured across to Moama Recreation Reserve with three teams ready to compete in what was an amazing day at soccer! Our students demonstrated our values magnificently, with even the umpires saying how much our students improved and how well they played as the day went on. Some fun in the sun and we couldn’t have been prouder.

Looking forward to some busy weeks coming up in the sporting space, so stay tuned!

Kind regards,
