Inclusion and Diversity Day

On Friday 17 May 2024, as part of Education Week, Kyabram P-12 College celebrated and recognised Inclusion and Diversity Day. 

Students were able to view performances and activities to acknowledge culture, neurodiversity, disability and inclusion of LGBTQI+ communities. 

During the event, the school community enjoyed music by ‘That Duo’, circus acts by ‘Tim Tim’ the Entertainer, Indigenous activities by Darchi Clarke, AFL Skills House activities, Parasport Wheelchair Basketball and a Giant Inflatable Dragon. Stalls on the day included Headspace, The Diversity Group, EAL and Aldara Yenara. 

Students were also able to engage with activities, such as Silent Headphone Disco, Sensory Tent, Giant Yard Games and a Chill Zone. Food enjoyed on the day were Hotdogs, Popcorn, Snow Cones and food vans Cinnamon Co. Donuts and Mocha & Morsels. 

The event provided a wonderful opportunity to see the college acknowledge the value of Community.
