School Advisory Council

SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL:

Our next meeting will be held on 4th June from 6.30 p.m. - 8.30 p.m. in the library,

where we will learn about the Optimal Relationship Approach(ORA). The staff of St Mark's have already been trained in this approach and are using it in their classrooms to support the creation of calm classrooms that engage students. This approach is one we can all use both at home and at school and so we are sharing it with our community.

The evening will be run by Masters qualified play therapists who have undertaken training in the ORA approach at a level that allows them to train others. We are looking forward to an engaging presentation with take home tips on how to improve our skills in creating calm, connected, engaged families.
