Senior School Athletics

Well done to all of our students for their participation in this year's Senior School Athletics! It was wonderful to see so many parents and family members attend as well as many of our students demonstrating our School Value of 'Resilience'. A special thanks to Mr Smith for his fantastic organisation of this event.

Education Week - Open Afternoon

Thankyou to all those who were able to visit with us last Friday afternoon in celebration of Education Week! We hope you enjoyed a sneak peak into what we've been up to in our classrooms. We appreciate you sharing your time with us!

Learning in Weeks 7 & 8

Mathematics: In Applied Maths, we will explore a variety of different digital and non-digital graphs including picture graphs, pie charts, columns graphs and bar graphs. Students will then collect data and present their information using these graphs. 'Fractions' will continue to be the focus in Fluid Groups throughout Weeks 7 and 8.

Writing & Reading: In Writing, we will be focusing on Narratives over the next fortnight. In particular, we will explore how to write short stories that contain a moral. In Reading, we will be making text-to-text connections by comparing the ways different authors present similar ideas as well as comparing characters from different texts.

Topic: Having completed their information reports on an endangered animal of their choice, students will now begin designing their campaign posters. We look forward to seeing the creative ways that students come up with to help raise awareness about their endangered animal!
