Sports Academy Update

Sports Academy students have been busy finishing off their Semester 1 sports. Some of this has culminated in Interschool Sports Competitions for our Junior, Intermediate and Senior teams playing in AFL, Soccer and Netball. Some winners through to the next round include;

• Year 7 Boys AFL;
• Year 8 Boys AFL;
• Year 9/10 Boys AFL;
• Year 9/10 Girls AFL;
• Year 11/12 Girls AFL;
• Year 9/10 Boys Netball and;
• Year 9/10 Boys Soccer.

Students were runners up in the following sports;

• Year 7/8 Girls AFL and;
• Year 9/10 Girls Netball (1 goal).

Coming up very soon we have;

• Umpire/referee days;
• AFL Training Session visit and;
• Axis Recovery Trip (Year 9-12 students).

We are in the midst of organising trips and other sports for Term 3 and 4 - stay tuned for more information.
