Happy Education Support Personnel Day

Last Thursday (16th May) was a special appreciation day for Education Support Staff. Thank you Ms Julie Hockey for organising the celebration event. 

Our students had the opportunity to give the support staff letters that they wrote during their study period. 

Both Ms Charmaine Ji and I felt so rewarded after we received so many heart-felt  letters and beautiful hand-made cards. I especially enjoyed the portrait that a student drew for me. 

Thank you to our wonderful students and our friendly school community.

Seminar on Relationship Skills and Harassment 

This Tuesday after school, our school nurse Ms Pamela Johnson hosted a special seminar on "Relationship Skills, Bullying and Sexual Harassment" for our Y10 and ILC students. Ms Johnson talked about positive relationships  and reviewed our school values and school policies. She raised awareness of the different types of bullying and strategies for dealing with it. Ms Johnson explained the difference between harassment and sexual harassment. What are the consequences and what you can do if you are a victim of such harassment.

The session has covered a lot of topics and we thank Ms Pamela Johnson for her support and special efforts with our ISP students throughout the past years. We are very sad that  this was the  last session from Ms Pamela Jonson as she will move to a new school next week. We wish you all the best in your new position at the new school.
