From the Principal

I am thrilled to share our wonderful success of our recent Twilight School event, a shining example of our commitment to Education Week and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). The dedication and enthusiasm of our students, staff and parents throughout the afternoon and evening, made it a memorable experience for all.

The STEM show was a particular highlight, receiving glowing feedback and sparking interest and curiosity in our students. The presentation and experiments not only impressed but also inspired our young scientists. I certainly learnt a few things or two and I could see many parents enjoyed the show too!

Thank you to Ms Bec Meade for organising the STEM show and for providing exciting STEM opportunities for our students.

The glow-in-the-dark party that followed was an absolute hit among the students. The vibrant, fun-filled atmosphere provided the perfect conclusion to an evening that celebrated learning, creativity, and community spirit.

A special thank you goes to our incredible education support staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Their hard work in cooking sausages and ensuring all students were well-fed did not go unnoticed. Your dedication and efforts are deeply appreciated and were integral to the success of the evening.

I would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Parent Engagement Committee led by Mrs Rachel Gathercole for organising the wonderful Mother’s Day afternoon tea and special assembly. Your efforts created a warm and welcoming environment that brought joy to many families and made the afternoon truly special for all mother figures in our community.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Twilight School and our Mother’s Day events so successful. Your support and participation are what make our school a place of growth and discovery. We look forward to many more events that continue to foster community connections and provide our students with enriching educational experiences.
