Classroom News

This is what our students have been up to this week.

Class 1/2 with Ellen

In inquiry our students in Ellen's class have been learning about dinosours.  Each student chose a specific dinasour to learn about.  As part of there learning they constructed a dinasour skeleton using pasta and then become paleontologist.  Staff buried their skeletons for the class to go out and find.

Educational Support Staff

Today we celebrated our ES staff with a big morning tea for them.  We are so lucky to have such a great group of people who support students, teachers and our Principal. You are all worth your weight in gold.  Thank you Angela, Deirde, Misa, Megan, Mary, Bron, Michelle, Kylie, Nathan, Emily, Kate, Hayley, Fiz and Lisa.

Gardening with Lucy

Our 3/4 class on Monday joined Lucy in our fruit/veg garden and this week havested a couple of pomegranites.  Some had not had the oportunity to try one so this was the perfect time to see if they liked it.

Fairy Garden

As part of some gardening upgrades, thanks to Steve Gardiner, we are seeking any donations of all things fairy garden related that will be placed in our Fairy Garden play area.  If you have a sturdy garden gnome, fairy statue or mushroom ornaments that you would like to rehome, please drop them off to our office with Amanda or Carolyn.

Thank you for some kind donations received already.
