The Week It Was On Prep

Students enjoyed having Pete Sanders from ‘I Love Maths’ come in to demonstrate a Maths lesson with our preps based on the story ‘One is a snail, ten is a crab’ book. Students have been focusing on how a number can be made in different ways. We have loved hearing students explain their mathematical thinking and thinking about numbers in different ways. In writing, students have been working on weekend recount writing, writing Thank You letters and editing sentences. It has been great to see our students become confident and independent in their writing. 

A friendly reminder Monday the 10th June a public holiday - no school. 

It is that time of year again where we are running out of tissues! If you could please send your child with a box of tissues for the classroom, that would be greatly appreciated.
