Well done on your recount writing this week Anna! You used the revision stage of the writing process to add more detail to each event and you used the editing stage to change your verbs into past tense. Keep up the excellent effort!  

Congratulations Sian. It has been awesome to see you try your best to improve your English speaking and writing. You have taken the initiative both in class and on our daily walks to and from the swimming pool this week to ask questions about common phrases and instructions we use at school. You consistently demonstrate a positive and genuine interest in all that you are confronted with and at the same time show consideration to others around you. You are a GEM!

Congratulations Taviru for working so well in our writing sessions. I really liked the way you were able to complete your work within the given time frame while also making time to help your table partner. Your supportive and gentle manner is appreciated by your classmates. Well done Taviru!

Congratulations Dany on a terrific speech about why you thought Nikola Tesla was a hero! You gave lots of persuasive reasons and even argued why he was a better choice than Thomas Edison. You used strong modality words such as 'audacity' and 'effective' and engaged your peers thoroughly. Keep up the great work!
