VOCABULARY
ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING
Role-Playing: Create scenarios where your child can practice empathetic responses. For example, pretend one of their friends is upset about something. Encourage your child to think about how their friend might be feeling and what they could say or do to help them feel better.
Acts of Kindness: Encourage your child to perform small acts of kindness for others, whether it's helping a classmate with their work, complimenting someone, or simply being a good listener. Talk about how these actions can make a positive impact on others and help build empathy.
