Eucalyptus House

Hello everyone, I'd like to start by introducing myself. My name is Mursal H. 

To begin with, I have enjoyed being an SRC member of Eucalyptus in 2023. I have enjoyed planning school activities for our House and others in the School. Having this opportunity has helped me to grow as a person in countless ways. I can't believe my first year of school is coming to an end. I still feel like my first day of school was yesterday.

Eucalyptus House has had many highlights this year and we have worked on many events. Some of our highlights this semester include:

• Medieval Day: being proactive in our learning about knights and weapons
• 7EAL excursions: seeing all the interactive displays at ACMI and the Immigration Museum
• Tennis Tournament at lunch: battling it out against other students at tennis
• PBL - Rube Goldberg machine: working in groups to design and create a physical 3D model of a machine.

As the year is getting closer to an end, students are very excited for the holiday break as well as the End of Year Celebrations for Eucalyptus. This year we have planned an excursion to Healesville Sanctuary to learn more about the native animals of Australia. We are excited to spend time in the sun and the surf on the Year 7 Beach Day, as well as the Year 7s kicking it on the Sports Day.
