Italian Day

Last Tuesday, 24 October, we celebrated all things Italian.  The day started with a visit from Leonardo Di Vinci (aka Angela Zerella) took us back in time to the creation of the Mona Lisa, who at times looked suspiciously like Mr Nunis and Mrs Pumpa!  After this introduction students spent the day in activities like playing bocce, making cannoli, building the Leaning Tower of Pisa, watching the entertaining show "Vacanze Romane", creating art works and generally having a very great time.  All topped off with a lovely lunch of pizza and gelato (special thanks to the band of parent helpers that rushed the orders to the classrooms). Thank you to Angela Zerella for all of her coordination and organisation of this day.
