Dear St Martha’s Families,

Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and carers who attended Mass and prayed the Rosary with the parishioners yesterday and today.

The basket with the ribbons with the names of our loved ones who have passed away, has been placed on the altar at St Martha's Church. Fr John celebrated Mass for their souls this morning, and we will continue to pray for all Souls in Purgatory during the whole month of November.

Many thanks to Mrs Parsell, and to the parents and grandparents who were free to come to the cafe after Mass yesterday, it was great to have some joy-filled quality time to celebrate All Saints' Day.

A huge THANK-YOU to our wonderful P&F for yesterday's ice-blocks' fundraiser and for all the great and constant work and generosity!

Upcoming Family and Faith Reminders

  • Sunday 5th November: K-2 Family Mass at 10am followed by morning tea. It would be great if you could please bring a nut-free plate to share
  • Wednesday 8th November: Vinnies Night Patrol: many thanks to all parents who volunteered. We will meet in Lewisham between 6pm and 6:30pm
  • Thursday 9th November: Storytime for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in the St Martha's school library from 9am to 10am
  • Wednesday 22nd November: Pilgrimage to Mary MacKillop's Place. See flyer below for information and registration.
  • Saturday 25th November: Women Advent Retreat. See flyer below for information and registration
  • Wednesday 6th December: Women's Event with Matt Fradd at Novotel Sydney Olympic Park from 9:30am to 12:30pm. The morning event will include brunch, fellowship, and a presentation on the Blessed Mother by Matt Fradd with Q&A and meet and greet. Tickets are available at $35 per adult or $90 for a group of three adults. Please note, if you were unable to attend the 9:10am Mass this morning (Thursday 2 November), All Souls' Mass will be celebrated at St Martha's church also tonight at 6pm.
