Yr 3 Excursion to the Rocks 

On Wednesday 25th October Year 3 attended a First Contacts Experience at the Rocks, Sydney. Students were transported back in time to the days of first contact and colonial exploration. Students put themselves in the shoes of the first European people, migrants, convicts and soldiers.

This experience helped to deepen students' understanding and empathy for the struggles, challenges and triumphs that have made Sydney the great city it is today, including those of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; early traders, explorers and settlers, first fleeters and their descendants. 

Year 3 enjoyed sharing their learnt experiences and new information  in a booklet.
