JUNIOR SCHOOL NEWS

Tara MacLeod

Year 8 Coordinator

The students of the Junior Sub-School have made a great start to term 4, jumping straight back into their classes. There have already been a few events on, with more to come later in the term.

Last week, it was great to see students enjoying themselves at the Multicultural Festival. A number of our Year 7 and 8 students were involved in various stalls throughout the day, as well as enjoying the festival themselves. This week students worked hard to complete their On Demand and PAT testing for Literacy and Numeracy.

Looking forward to later in the term, Year 7 Students have their second round of immunisations in week 7. Also coming up quickly this term are semester two exams. Students will be completing these in week 8 and will have a timetable released soon.

There has been an improvement in students wearing the correct uniform, however there are still some hoodies and jumpers making their way to school. If, for whatever reason, the students are not able to wear their correct uniform, a note must be provided from the parents/guardians, or a phone call must be made to the school to explain why the students are out of uniform for that day. If there are any issues with getting the correct uniform, please contact the Well-Being Team for assistance.

Overall, it has been a great first few weeks of term 4 and the Junior Sub-School are looking forward to the remainder of the year.
