Class of 2023 Exhibition
On Friday evening, we celebrated the Year 12 students of Industry and Entrepreneurial Solutions, Tech Material Solutions and Visual Art - Art and Design.
Over 200 people attended the Exhibition event, enjoying community with live performances by the Emmaus Chamber Ensemble, drinks from the Twisted Barista Coffee Van and nibbles, all provided free of charge.
We are so proud of each of our students who blessed us with their amazing talent!

SA Building Links Program
As the year starts to wind up, so do our students participating in the Building Links program.
Designed specifically for VET in Schools, this program provides students with hands-on experience in renovating and remodelling an existing home provided in partnership with South Australian Housing Authority (SAHA).
This year, 6 Emmaus students participated in this program developing skills and knowledge of the construction industry while completing a Certificate II in Construction Pathways.
Angus, Charlie, Joshuah, Noah, Owen and Tyson Y enjoyed the combination of training on a live construction site, practical work sessions and theory-based learning. They have gained valuable experience through this program and have insight into the variety of trades within the industry.
These students are now equipped with the foundations for a career in the Building and Construction industry, with pathways open directly into apprenticeship opportunities.

Debating SA Award Ceremony
Piera, Year 5 Brooklyn Park student who was awarded the prestigious title of "Debater of the Year" in the Year 5 division, attended the official award ceremony at Government House.
Piera was also asked by Debating SA to present her Excellency with a bouquet of flowers!
Piera's family have thanked you as the Emmaus community for your support and encouragement, also very kindly saying that 'our children are also successful because of the Emmaus staff community.'
Kaitlin, former Emmaus student, recognised Piera in her uniform. Kaitlin won the Year 9 National Final in the Legacy Junior Public Speaking Competition as well as being an excellent debater (now being the coach for the Glenunga International High debating team), School Captain, and Dux for several years of her schooling.
We are very proud of Piera for her outstanding achievement!
