Aleph Camp

Wildside Dinner

Aleph, by many reports, had two of the best days ever.  We visited the Botanical Gardens where we had a delicious morning tea prepared by Mrs. Beardsmore and Mrs. Deroon.

Mr. Tevita added to the excitement of the ride around the gardens by leaping off the moving carriage, rescuing hats, racing back to the train and leaping back into his seat several times without breaking a sweat.

The ladies at the Botanical Gardens had organised several fun craft activities. We lunched and played at the Eleventh Street Park.

The tour at the library was informative. We found out that to take books from the library we only need to produce a card. We don't have to buy the books. The Beebots were a huge success and we have been programming the Beebots at school to negotiate intricate mazes.

Wildside happened a couple of days later. The staff could see the development of teamwork, strategizing and attention to detail as the students participated in the activities. The evening was topped off by a delicious meal again prepared by the dynamic duo Mrs. Beardsmore and Mrs. Deroon. The weather was perfect. We thank all the parents for attending.
