Student Leaders Corner

Meet your School Captains!
Hey everyone! As most of you may know, my name is Praneet and I’m honoured to serve as one of your School Captains for 2025!
As we kick off this exciting new year, I want to extend a warm welcome back to all the students, staff, and families. Whether you’re returning for another chapter or stepping into Dandenong High School for the first time, I hope this year brings you new opportunities and growth.
Stepping into this leadership role is a privilege, and my main goal is to represent and uplift our incredible school community. I wanted to be a leader this year because I believe that the power of student voice and collaboration makes a meaningful impact on the environment around us. Moreover, Dandy High is more than just a school in my eyes; it's a place where we support one another and strive to be the best version of ourselves, so what's better than being able to help make it a better place!
This year, I’m excited to work alongside students and staff to strengthen our school spirit and create a positive change. I hope 2025 is where everyone at DHS feels connected and inspired. Whether it’s taking on new challenges or simply enjoying the day-to-day moments, let’s make this an unforgettable year and finish with some extraordinary memories!

School Captain
Hi everyone! My name is Mridula, and I'm honoured to be your School Captain for 2025.
Over the years at Dandenong High School, I've learned the value of saying yes to new opportunities, stepping outside my comfort zone, and making the most of everything our school has to offer. I can confidently say that this is the reason I'm passionate about the things I am today. Whether it's through my love for music and playing the piano, my passion for sports like badminton, or my involvement in leadership and extracurricular activities, I've always believed in taking on challenges and turning them into fun experiences.
This year, our focus is "All Thrive in 2025," and to me, that means ensuring every student feels supported, valued and inspired to reach their full potential. This isn't just about academics; it's about feeling like you belong in our school community, trying new things, and knowing that your voice matters. I want to help create an environment where everyone can grow and succeed together
I'm excited for the year ahead and looking forward to seeing what we can achieve as a school. Let’s make 2025 a year where we all thrive.
Thank you.
Mridula Chakrabarti, H12
