Dylan Frost is a Year 12 student at Seymour College. Dylan has secured a school-based apprenticeship in Cabinet Making with Marshall Cabinets, a local employer whose factory is located on a rural property near Tallarook. Dylan commenced some work placement at Marshall Cabinets in May 2024. He has enjoyed the learnings of the industry and the workplace experience. Marshall Cabinets has a strong history of supporting local students into school-based apprenticeships and then seeing them transfer their apprenticeship to full-time. When Dylan enquired about the possibility of a school-based apprenticeship, Mick Marshall fully supported the suggestion. Dylan will work two days a week and attend Seymour College the remaining three days. As part of his trade school requirement, Murray Mallee Training with deliver the training to the workplace.
