PTFA Update
On Wednesday 12th February, the PTFA Executive Team gathered to discuss how to allocate the funds raised by our dedicated team in 2024. After thoughtful consideration, we decided to purchase the following items:
Swimming caps in red, blue, and purple for our school Swimming Carnivals, and white for Interschool Swimming Carnivals (all caps will feature our school logo).
Swimming jackets embroidered with our school logo, for students to wear at Interschool Swimming Events.
- Portable aluminium soccer goals for our Junior and Senior school students, to replace the current portable, broken Soccer goals.
On Friday 14th February, one of the main tasks the PTFA took on for the day was preparing and serving lunches for both the staff and students at our school Swimming Carnival. This involved carefully planning and organising meals to ensure everyone was nourished and well taken care of throughout the day.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to assist with the Swimming Carnival. A special thanks to those who arrived at 7AM to help set up, prepare food, and assist with other tasks, and also to those who stayed after the event to help with clean up. Your support was truly appreciated!
Looking ahead, we are preparing for the next events on our calendar and are in need of volunteers at each of these:
Tuesday 4th March - Kinder Picnic
Thursday 6th March - Junior School Athletics Carnival
Tuesday 11th March - Senior School Athletics Carnival
- Tuesday 18th March - Open Evening
If you could kindly respond with your availability on this Google Form, we would be incredibly grateful for any assistance you can offer! We warmly welcome help from parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, family friends - anyone willing to pitch in and help! Your support truly means the world to us!
