PARENT VOLUNTEERS 2025

We appreciate any time you can give with volunteering to support our amazing school and we understand that everyone is busy. However, the saying of ‘may hands make light work’ really helps in the school volunteer situation!

We welcome volunteers to:

Join the Governing Council! Follow the QR code below to register interest in joining our Governing Council. Our AGM will be held on Friday, February 29, at 1:00PM in Penney Space.

In addition to our amazing Governing Council Volunteers who give up a lot of their time,  we always need people who can volunteer for the following jobs including –

• Canteen Pick-ups on Thursday and Fridays – ongoing (45 mins from 10.35-11.15am) – if we have multiple volunteers you may need to only do this 2-3 times per term max
• Helping out with Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas stalls – these are during the school day and our kids love being able to choose special gift for their loved ones – but we cannot run these without volunteers
• Helping with Reading/ Spelling/Learning High Frequency words  - please check in with your child’s class teacher – we will train you up!
• Disco night fundraiser – on a Friday night (to be confirmed)
• BBQ help outs – Sports Day and End or Year concert (and others as they come up)
• Colour Fun Run

These events for our children and community rely on the support of volunteers to proceed.

This year we will put out expressions for volunteers 3-4 weeks from the events. If we do not have the sufficient number of volunteers for the event we will need to cancel, but will give families plenty of notice about volunteering and notify if we need to cancel due to a lack of volunteers 1 week before the scheduled event. Expressions for volunteering will be via your child’s SeeSaw and the School Facebook page.

Excursions – At times we need parent volunteers with clearances to support with extra supervision and everyone loves to go on an excursion and have fun at these events.

Please NOTE – first option and priority for excursion volunteers will be offered to parents who volunteer for multiple events across the year.
