MEET THE FAMILY 

Charles Addams brought spooky fun to life in 1938 when he introduced The Addams Family in The New Yorker, long before the 1964 TV show and later movies made them pop culture legends. His creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky characters—Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Lurch and Grandma—weren't just weird; they reveled in it. The cartoons were presented as a satirical twist on the ideal American family. Despite their eerie interests—playing with guillotines, gardening poisonous plants, and delighting n the dark—the Addams’s functioned as a loving, supportive unit, subverting the notion that a "perfect" family had to conform to societal norms.

Get ready to step into the delightfully eerie world of The Addams Family as our upcoming musical brings Charles Addams’ iconic characters to life on stage…. with a slight twist. Grown up Wednesday Addams stuns her delightfully macabre family by falling in love with someone… normal! Just like in his original cartoons, the Addams family proves that being different is something to celebrate—don’t miss the show!

Dance Team Auditions

It's audition time for the St Norbert College Dance Teams! This year, we're holding a combined audition for Junior, Senior, and Hip-Hop Crew in week 5. Here's how it works:

• Register to receive a link to a short routine you'll need to learn.

• Present the routine in groups on the audition day.

• The co-curricular dance program offers experienced dancers in Year 7-12 the chance to enhance their skills and perform at various events throughout the year. Rehearsals are on Wednesday mornings (7:40am -8:30am) for Hip-Hop crew, Wednesday afternoons (3:30pm-4:30pm) for Seniors, and Thursday afternoons (3:30pm – 4:30pm) for Juniors.

• Register by writing your name, team, and year level on the sign-up sheet in the Xanten Performing Arts Foyer by Tuesday 25th, February

• Arrive on time on the day to collect your audition number.

• Wear the College dance uniform or PE uniform and bring a water bottle

** Please note, returning members for Junior and Senior don't need to re-audition; simply write your name on the sign-up sheet. All Hip-Hop Crew members will need to re-audition due to high level of interest**
