Year 5/6 students painted small pictures of hearts, “Heart Art’. They painted their pictures using watercolour paints and lots of small brush strokes in contrasting colours. They then finished their pictures by painting on decorative details in black ink. Well done Year 5 / 6. Our outstanding artists this week are: Pip, Oliver, Oscar, Octavia, Taylor, Joseph, Zara, Lily, Stefano and Alexa. |

Year 4 students looked at examples of traditional Australian Indigenous painting. We discussed the colours and techniques used and the stories and meanings behind the painting. Students then painted their own ‘Indigenous-style’ painting. Great work Year 4. Our outstanding artists this week are: Lincoln, Harper, Maddison, Zaine, Hattie, Harvey, Dash, Emmie, Declan, Vaughn, Portia and Poppy. |
