Introducing Prep B

We are delighted to welcome our Prep students to St Mary's Primary School!

As you can see each child received their very own 'Mary Bear' on the first day of school, and these cuddly companions have quickly become cherished friends.

Over the past few days, we have been learning school routines, understanding our school norms, and getting to know the wonderful children and adults in our class and school. We've also visited different classrooms and especially enjoyed meeting our Year 5 Buddies!

Library News - Mrs Kat

I am excited to introduce the school to our new library space. Sadly this didn't go as planned this week - next week is looking up! I am pleased and so proud of our new space. I have been busy stock-taking the books we have, as well as injecting new books. It's looking good!  It would be great to see everyone with their library bags - a library bag ensures the books can be transported between home and school safely and hopefully free from any rogue items in the bottom of the school bag!

Wednesday is library day - so now - yes, you guessed it - Wednesday is officially the best day of the week!

You may have seen that book club catalogs have gone home, the close date for orders is 14th of February, please follow online directions it is all managed online. Once I 'close the loop' delivery of books can take up to 2 weeks and books will be sent home with students. For any purchases made, the school is allocated a percentage to purchase books for the library and I am very grateful for this - there's a new DogMan book doing the rounds, I am sure many of you will know what I am talking about!
