Wellbeing Team Update: Celebrating the End of Semester

As we reach the end of another busy semester, the Wellbeing Team would like to congratulate all students on their hard work, resilience and achievements. Whether you have been balancing study, work, family commitments, extracurricular activities, or personal challenges, we recognise the effort it takes to make it through a semester successfully.

This semester, it has been wonderful to see students engaging in wellbeing programs, attending workshops, connecting with peers, and seeking support when needed. Building positive wellbeing habits is an ongoing journey, and every small step contributes to greater confidence, health and success.

As you head into the semester break, we encourage you to take time to rest and recharge. Prioritise activities that support your wellbeing, such as spending time with family and friends, staying active, enjoying hobbies, getting adequate sleep and reflecting on your achievements. Remember that rest is an important part of maintaining both physical and mental wellbeing.

We are also excited about what is planned for next semester. Students can look forward to our Year 8 Wellbeing Day, Year 9 Wellbeing Day, and Year 10 Wellbeing Day, which will provide valuable opportunities to build skills, strengthen connections, and focus on personal growth. We will also be hosting our annual Wellbeing Week, featuring a range of activities and events designed to promote positive mental health, connection, and wellbeing across the school community.

For students returning next semester, we look forward to continuing to support you through a range of wellbeing initiatives, resources and events. If you need support during the break, please remember that external support resources remain available, as outlined at the bottom of the page.

Thank you for being part of our community this semester. We wish you a safe, relaxing and enjoyable break and look forward to seeing you again next semester.

Warm regards,

Kerri Haworth

Director of  Wellbeing

We would love for your school to spread the word and encourage students to take part. Expression of interest is now open, with limited spots available!

We would appreciate it if you could also pass this information on to your art teachers. We are happy to coordinate the collection of multiple entries from the school.
