Art Exhibition Poster Competition 

During Term 3, past and present EHPS students were invited to create a poster for our 2023 Art Exhibition. 

 

The design brief was as follows:

  • Contain the words “Ever Higher”; and 
  • Make it look amazing!

We had so many excellent entries from past and current students. Congratulations to all the runner up entries:

All these entries will receive a runner up certificate, and their artwork will be displayed on exhibition flyers, invitations and at the exhibition!

 

Congratulations to the winner of the competition, EHPS 2022 graduate Alana C. Alana will receive a $50 JB-Hi Fi gift voucher, and her poster will advertise the exhibition on a billboard at the front of school! Here is Alana's winning poster:

We would like to thank everyone who placed an entry into the competition. Deciding the runner ups and winner was a tough task as we were truly blown away by the high quality entries we received. We look forward to seeing you all at the exhibition in early December!

EHPS 2023 Art Exhibition: Ever Higher

Essex Heights Primary School will host an art exhibition in early December. It will be located in our Violet Building. The exhibition will feature over 400 artworks displayed on the exhibition walls. Additionally, each class will have a portfolio, with each student having an A2 page dedicated to their work.

 

We are delighted to provide you with this quick FAQ guide about our upcoming Art Exhibition, ‘Ever Higher’:

  • From Wednesday 6 to Friday 8 December, each class will have a guided tour through the exhibition.
  • The exhibition will be open for public viewing after school hours on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 December between 3.30pm and 5.30pm, and on Friday 8 December between 3.30pm to 6pm.
  • Each class will have a half hour guided tour during school times between Wednesday 6 December to Friday 8 December.
  • Each student will have an opportunity to vote for their favourite artworks (People’s Choice Award) in the seven categories of Prep, Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
  • During the exhibition week, we will unveil a new school mural that celebrates our school values, ArtSEL and The Resilience Project.
  • Each class will produce one class artwork. In late November and early December, parents will have the opportunity to place a silent bid on one.
  • At Assembly on Monday 11 December, we will announce the People’s Choice Award winners and the Class Artwork silent auction winners.
