Last Friday was World Teachers Day, a time for us to thank our fantastic team here at Sacred Heart!
At our morning gathering some Yr. 6 children read aloud original poems written by them about our teachers....
A Teacher acrostic (written by Miller & Lewis) and a poem (written by Scarlet & Stella) dedicated to our teachers at SHS.
Also a lovely poem written by Poppy recently while on holidays in Queensland.
THE GORGE
Photos don't do it justice
No one can capture the beauty.
The land is vast with creatures and plants of all shapes and sizes.
It is hard to describe the beauty of the mountains,
The highest ridgetops and the rocky terrain.
No doubt this place is incredible in every single way.
STOMP DANCE CO.
Our sessions with Maddy from STOMP Dance Company have been energetic and fun.
Yesterday the classes learnt their third new dance. The next two sessions will be spent
practising one of these to perform to the whole school and parents on the afternoon
of Friday November 10th.
This performance will be held at the Jubilee Centre at Trinity College beginning at
2:00pm and finishing by 3:00pm. There will be no cost to parents/carers for this event.
